Community Spotlight: India’s upcoming general election

Dear Members,

Welcome to Toluna’s first fortnightly community spotlight feature*. Politics is usually a common topic of discussion among Toluna members, and in India we’re all wondering about the results of next year’s general election. This is why Toluna Team has chosen rajkiran506‘s topic about your choice for ruling party. Feel free to join the discussion here.

There are obviously many different opinions about this, but essentially we all just want what is best for the nation. Here are some of the comments from our community members:

Jacqueline Hejazeen – BJP is better, the party is doing alot for the people of goa, like free meals for the school children, free books, raincoats, free electronic tablets, etc., girl students also get an educational loan of about a lakh of rupees, cycles. the roads look better and the educational system has been brought on par with other states of India.

M Haridas – Not sure as to what the youth aspire for. However, I believe the communists must be given a chance.

ranajitbaruah – INC ..Congress is corupted by some poltitian but still there are some good people who are trying and developing our country.

A big thank you goes out to our Featured User, rajkiran506, and all of this topic’s contributors for reminding us that we all have a right to vote and influence this nation’s leaders.

See you soon,

The Toluna Team
